It is important to understand that rope bondage of any kind always has inherent risk, and is never 100% safe. However, your physical and emotional safety is my number one priority and all care is taken to mitigate the risk of injury as much as possible. Before your session, you will be sent a questionnaire with some questions about your health which we will discuss in our first session. This helps me adapt my practice to your needs and capabilities.
Additionally, I continue to train extensively in this artform with some of the best masters of the craft, always developing my skills and knowledge further to be able to provide the best possible service to my clients.

No prior experience or any specific level of flexibility is required to enjoy Shibari. I will adapt the ties and techniques to accommodate your unique body type and levels of fitness and comfort.
-
It is recommended to wear close-fitting, comfortable clothing. Gym/yoga clothes that leave the arms and legs bare are preferred, or if you enjoy being tied in lingerie or underwear this is also fine. I do not recommend wearing bras with underwire, as it sits where rope may be applied and this can be uncomfortable. Tight, non-stretch clothing such as jeans are also not recommended.
-
It can be, but this is not the service I currently offer. During sessions, underwear must stay on and fully cover the genitals. I do not provide additional BDSM or sexual services such as impact, sensory play with tools other than rope, or any form of sexual stimulation.
If you desire these services, I am more than happy to refer you to some trusted providers in this space.

Shibari can be enjoyed by both couples and individuals. I offer private tuition for couples and individuals, couple’s experiences and individual sessions where I tie you.
All sessions are tailored to suit personal preferences, whether it's a solo experience or a shared exploration between partners.
-
It is essential to honestly communicate any physical limitations or health indications with me beforehand, by filling out the intake form I send you upon booking. In most cases, I can adapt the ties and techniques accordingly to ensure a good experience. In some cases, Shibari might not be suitable for someone, although this is rare.
Please note: Having a disability, a particular body size or shape, or health challenges does not automatically exclude you from enjoying Shibari! Every body is a rope body and I strive to be as inclusive as possible in my practice. If you’re not sure if I can accommodate you, please contact me and we can discuss.
-
Learning Shibari techniques requires proper in-person guidance and practice. While there are online resources and tutorials available, it is essential for the safety of all involved to seek guidance from experienced practitioners, engage in classes, or attend workshops to learn the techniques correctly and understand safety measures.
I currently offer in-person private tuition as well as group classes at Peer Rope Melbourne.
-
The minimum age for engaging in sessions or tuition with me is 18. There is no maximum age (personally, I hope to tie until I am 100 years old!).
-
I absolutely prioritise maintaining a discreet and confidential environment, ensuring that your personal boundaries and comfort levels are respected during, as well as outside of the sessions.
Your personal details are stored securely and your identity is kept private, unless you give me explicit permission to share.

Upon booking via the booking form on this website, I will contact you to find a suitable date and time. I will send you an information pack and intake and release forms via email.

Private sessions take place at my studio in Coburg south.
-
All sessions start with a thorough safety and personal check in, where we will run through your intake form together and co-design the session.
I will address any questions or concerns you might have, and seek your informed consent to proceed.
While rope bondage by definition is never 100% safe, your safety is my biggest concern and I am dedicated to providing experiences that are tailor-made to your experience level, physical abilities and emotional states, in addition to your desires.
After the session we will share some tea and a debrief. -
